The society starting as the Japanese Society of Reticuloendothelial
System under the presidency of Prof. Kaneyoshi Akazaki in 1961, changed
the name as the Japanese Society for Lymphoreticular Tissue Research
in 1997.
The society aims to research on fundamental and clinical problems
of the hematopoietic system, especially lymphoreticular system and
their allied fields.
Our society has made progress with the cooperation of the members.
Not only dealing with the fundamental issues existing throughout the
ages, we always place emphasis on the research which keeps up with
the times.
I believe it is our mission to extend the activity of the society
in this 21 century. |
